Current opportunities
Internal Business Development and Proposals Manager
Ref: EBD21
Job Purpose
To draft and manage the review and completion of proposals and technical agreements for Eden Biodesign. The job holder will be the principle point of contact within Eden Biodesign to ensure timely execution of proposals and contracts between Eden and the Client. To support the business development team in Europe and the United States and marketing in the promotion of Eden Biodesign.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in biopharmaceutical development or a closely related discipline. They will be able to demonstrate previous proposal or contractual responsibility and / or the required professional and interpersonal competencies that this pivotal role requires. The job holder will represent the ‘face' of the company to potential clients and will be expected to be completely credible in such a position as well as commercially astute.
Candidates should possess a recognised scientific degree level qualification and evidence of continuous professional development.

Fermentation Development Scientist

Job Purpose
You will have demonstrable experience in the design of a broad range of expression systems and development of fermentation processes for the production of biopharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate for this position will currently be bench based, they should also be adaptable, personable and technically competent, with excellent decision-making skills and be able to work autonomously. Knowledge of current regulatory guidelines would be advantageous but not essential. They should have excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life sciences discipline.
Quality Control Analyst

Job Purpose
You will be responsible for performing analysis
of raw materials, in-process and finished products in the Quality Control Department,
you will ensure traceability and compliance in all laboratory activities.
Ideally you will have a recognised scientific degree level qualification
in biological, chemical or pharmaceutical
science and have experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical
industry working to current good laboratory practice (cGMP). Experience
of working with molecular biology and/or protein chemistry techniques
would be a distinct advantage.
Quality Assurance
Ref: EBD24
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring cGMP
compliance in the design, development and delivery of clinical trials
materials. Working within the QA team to ensure that the quality standards
and systems of Eden Biodesign are implemented and maintained in compliance
with cGMP. Minimum qualifications are a degree or equivalent in scientific
discipline and cGMP experience gained within a pharmaceutical environment.
Experience of biopharmaceuticals and early stage clinical trial supply
would be advantageous.
